How Billing and Subscriptions Work

Billing is one of those topics nobody wants to read about until something feels off, and then it’s the only thing they want to read about. So let’s just cover it properly once.

Plans and pricing

Current plans and prices live on the Pricing page. Plans change over time, and we’d rather you see what’s live today than a snapshot from whenever this was written. The general shape: the free plan already includes paper trading, backtesting, live trading and one exchange connection. Paid plans add more automations, more exchange connections and longer backtests.

Paying for it

You can pay by card, with local payment methods, or in crypto. Checkout shows the options available in your country, priced in your own currency. Crypto is there for people who’d rather not put a trading tool on a card statement, which, fair enough. Whichever you use, your subscription renews each billing period until you cancel it.

Cancelling

Open Payments, find your subscription and click Cancel. Nothing dramatic happens straight away: your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, so you’re not cut off mid-cycle. After that, your account moves to the free plan. It isn’t deleted.

Refunds

Here’s the one we’d rather be upfront about than let you find out the hard way: subscription fees are non-refundable, except where local law requires otherwise. We know that’s not the answer everyone wants, but we’d genuinely rather tell you plainly now than have it come up as a surprise during a support conversation later. On the fence about whether TradeFIQ is worth it? That’s exactly what the free plan and paper trading are for. Take it for a real spin before you pay for anything.

If something looks wrong on your invoice

Email support@hello.tradefiq.com with the date and amount you’re asking about. Billing questions get answered faster than almost anything else we handle, mostly because they’re usually simple to resolve once someone’s actually looking at the account.

That’s the whole system. No hidden tiers, no auto-upgrade traps, nothing that only gets explained after you’ve already been charged for it.
