Crypto Trading Bot FAQ: Straight Answers About TradeFIQ
How the no-code trading bot works, where your money lives, what it can and can't do, and what it costs.
The basics
What is TradeFIQ?
A web app for automating crypto trading without code. You build a strategy from menus, give an automation a budget and a schedule, and it trades on your own exchange account.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Strategies, risk rules and schedules are all set from menus. There are no scripts to write or maintain.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free plan includes paper trading, backtesting, one exchange connection and live trading. Paid plans add more automations and exchange connections.
Which exchanges are supported?
Binance, Bybit, OKX, KuCoin, Kraken, Coinbase, Bitget, Gate.io, MEXC. Each connection trades spot or futures.
Safety and your money
Does TradeFIQ hold my funds?
No. Your money stays on your exchange. TradeFIQ places orders through an API key with trading permission only.
Should I enable withdrawals on my API key?
Never. TradeFIQ does not need it, and a key without withdrawal permission cannot move funds off your account.
How are my API keys stored?
API secrets are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). You can revoke a key on your exchange at any time to cut access instantly.
How much can an automation lose?
No more than the budget you give it. Each automation has its own capital, sizes trades from it, and stops if it is used up.
Strategies and automations
Which indicators can I use?
Around 30, including RSI, MACD, EMA and SMA, Bollinger Bands, Stochastic, ADX, Supertrend, Ichimoku, Parabolic SAR, ATR, OBV, VWAP, RSI divergence, Smart Money Concepts and candlestick patterns.
How often does an automation run?
On the schedule you choose: every 15 minutes, hourly, daily at a set time, weekly, and so on, in your own timezone.
Can I change a trade while it is open?
Yes. Edit an automated trade’s stop-loss, take-profit or exit rules without closing the position. Only that trade changes.
Can I test before using real money?
Yes. Backtest on historical data, then run the same automation with paper money on live prices. Paper and live have separate automation allowances.
Copy trading
How does the copy-trading fee work?
Each manager sets a flat weekly fee. It is held from your TradeFIQ wallet on Monday and paid to the manager only if the copied trades finish the week in profit; otherwise it is refunded.
Who can be a manager?
Premium traders with at least $1,000 of live profit on TradeFIQ over the previous three months, re-checked every quarter.
Billing
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancelling stops future charges, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
What can I pay with?
Cards, local payment methods and crypto. Checkout shows the options available in your country, priced in your own currency.
